I tried to uninstall meta horizon link, while trying to fix a problem I have. Tried to uninstall from the settings, but the same message popped up. I tried to manually remove the files from my Program Files and App Data files, restarted my pc and download the latest setup file and the same message popped up, so I won't be able to install it back at all. Are there ways to fix this problem?
Install with administrator privileges. Or try creating a new Windows profile and install it from there as admin.
Now I have tried to reinstall the app on an alternative account couple of times. It does show on my main account, that it has been changed, like the shortcut shows up on my desktop, yet it still shows that I'm still logged in. Probably doesn't matter, but I've had a freezing problem with my headset, and I'm quite certain, that it's either the apps fault or my computer doing some weird stuff, especially with the setup.exe file for the meta horizon link app. I tried to use an uninstaller app for the meta, so it would delete all the files and stuff, that is related to the meta. I'm using the Windows defender, which doesn't seem to be blocking anything, when I try to install the app.
The freezing issue (you're probably using USB cable?) is a known problem at present.
