It was clearly designed as a meet-up place. But they never finished it.
The funny thing is, yesterday I somehow saw it as an option in some kind of multiplayer list. It was at the top of the list and it was showing how many people were in there (only me of course).
But the way it was displayed implied it should be an option for hosting meetups and then starting games from there together... However it was greyed out and not possible to click on.
I can't tell you where I saw this because i saw it after they applied the dreaded "Navigator" UI to my headset. I hate it. I've been using the old one for years. I have yet to see why this should be better. Maybe it can do things the old UI couldn't. Then I'd revoke my complaint.
But regarding the Loft - it's been designed as a multiplayer meetup space from day 1 and just never finished. And I guess it never will be.
Unless the fact that I saw it on that list means they are working on it? IDK.
