Hi I used a free trial for a game on my meta quest 2 and then purchased the full version. The store shoes “start”, but when I launch it , it says the free trial has ended and loops back to the store

Nobody here on the forum can do that.
You must talk to support, they'll sort that.

You don't even say which game it was 🤦♂️.
Maybe you should uninstall the trial version and delete its data and also the saves that were stored in the Cloud.
