Golf + missing from my Games Apps

When I purchased my Meta Quest 3, I had Meta Horizon + subscription. I purchased Golf +.

Sometime later, I cancelled my Meta Horizon + subscription, but I did not see it impacting any of my purchased or downloaded games after I cancelled as the renewal date was not imminent.

In the meantime, I have not been able to use my Meta Quest 3, due to a period of illness.

After a period of about 5 -6 months of not using my device, I tried to use it, and after recharging and updating software, I wanted to look for my Golf + app.

I cannot find it in my list of apps.

I cannot find a way of contacting META Support to discuss this issue.

So, I thought I would try the forum.

How do I reinstate Golf +

Or do I have to pay again because the ownership of the app has timed out due to inactivity?

Could the problem be that I cancelled my Meta Horizon + subscription.

i apologise if I am asking a silly question. I'm not a young gamer. I bought my VR headset to see if it would alleviate my Parkinson's symptoms and I thought that Golf + was a good start into experimenting with my VR journey. I am frustrated that this game app is now missing from my list of apps.

    Have you actually purchased it? Or have you redeemed it as one of the monthly Horizon+ games?

    Games that you redeem are available to you as long as you are subscriber of Horizon+. When the subscription ends, the game will disappear from your library.

    If it was one of the two monthly games and you redeemed it, it will reappear in your library after you renewed your subscription.

    Of course, you can also just buy the game, if you don't want the Horizon+ subscription anymore.

  • Thank you for your support. That makes sense. I will purchase the app. Clearly with Meta Horizon + subscription I am only “renting” the game so long as I continue to pay for my subscription.
