Horizon app connection issues/ horizon plus

I got 2-3s for the kids and I for Christmas I was able to get my account set up and do the 3 month trial of horizon plus. I the created and set up my kids 2 accounts on each headset. At first I thought all was work g great, but then over the next couple days I noticed a couple issues. These issues have alternated from headset to the other, I do not believe this is a headset specific issue

  1. In the meta horizon app I am only able to connect to 1 headset, the other tries to connect and says not found, unable to cast to my phone, but if I select cast from the headset, it works fine.

2. kids accounts  do not show any games that I had downloaded through the horizon plus app. Tries to make them pay for games.

      You can only use App Sharing from your primary account to one headset at a time. So you'll have to manually switch app sharing between each headset using the phone app. You have to download and install the games to your primary account first on each headset, then the game will also appear in the child's library on that headset (also check the filters in the library on the headset, there is an icon on the left specifically for Horizon+ games, and also there is a filter at the top, where you can select "All", "Not installed", etc), and they will need to "download/install" the game again (probably a parental control will pop-up to ask you for permission through the phone app).

      If the headset shows as "not connected" in the phone app, it may be that the headset is switched off, in sleep mode, or too far away. Wait a few seconds, it might reconnect automatically, or wake the headset up first by putting it on and taking it off, with your phone nearby.

        Thank you Steve, I’ll double check the horizon +filter

         

        as dar as the headset not connecting, it won’t connect to a headset my son is actively playing in front of me but will connect to the other headset that’s in sleep mode on the counter
