I redeemed them from the phone app and thats where the issue started I think.
No, I don't think, that's the problem.....I redeem games from the phone all the time.
But they don't start downloading/installing until I tab the "install on headset" button.🤔
So, I'm not sure what's going on with your games.....have you clicked the "install" button?
Maybe let the games finish the download/install once and then uninstall them instead of canceling the download?
The install on headset button after redeeming automatically greys out and starts showing a rotating loading icon after a few seconds of redeeming it.
I found another post on reddit dealing with the same issue, also attributed to the app, and they have the same solution of letting it download and then uninstalling. Problem is its a couple hundred gigs of downloads for all the horizon plus games I redeemed and I need to pay for data at a rate of about R100 a gig, or about R10000-30000 if my quick math is correct, which is a couple months salary here in South Africa :(
That's very expensive. Are there no limit free wifi packages available there?

I'm not sure, what you can do know if Maccyb123 suggestion does not help.
Maybe a factory reset will stop the auto download?...... and with a little luck it won't start again after you set up the Quest again.
Sadly, I don't know if this will work.

Just a tip for the future..... it doesn't make any sense to redeem all the games from the catalog. Redeem only the two monthly titles. From catalog only redeem a game when you wanna play it.
