i cannot call my friend but he doesnt have me blocked and i dont have him blocked either or follow

he just got a meta quest 3 yesterday and i cannot call him anymore so i unfollowed him and he unfollowed me (we were on call on snapchat) and we tried to follow eachother again and it doesnt let us follow eachother anymore.
