Lone Echo 2 Broken Main Menu

Hi all,

I recently reinstalled Lone Echo 2 hoping to play it again, however upon booting the game up and making it past the accessibility setting screens no problem, I was placed in the main menu environment, but all the buttons were invisible. When I hover my selection cursor over the areas where the button should be, I can hear the little noise they make confirming that they're there, but they're entirely invisible.

I'm playing the game over Meta Link using a Meta Quest 2, the same device I used in the past. The only difference is that I'm running it on a newly built PC.

So my questions are: are there any known fixes to what I'm experiencing? and, does Lone Echo 2 have any known issues/incompatibilities with the newer gen hardware I'm using? (newer gen i.e. RTX 50 series cards, DDR5  Memory, or AM5 CPUs) Thanks

Yes, I just talked to support for over an hour and they offered nothing other than for me to contact Ready At Dawn's support, a company that Meta shut down a year ago

We hope we can provide a helpful update for you - after taking a look, we can see that Lone Echo 2 was a Rift and Rift S game. As it wasn't ported to the Quest 2, that may explain why you're having some issues.

We would recommend double checking the Quest store, the supported platforms and devices for each title is suggested on the page for each game!

  • I'm having the exact same issue with a 5070 Ti over Air Link with a Quest 3. Not optimistic about getting an answer if Meta Support doesn't know what PCVR is, though...

I had the same issue as you but it seems to be working now. I'm not sure if it was a botched Nvidia driver update or a botched Link update (more likely) but whatever it is, it's running great on my 5070 Ti now.
