lone echo

I don't have enough space on my C: drive, I have to install on either of my external drives and I get the error drive must be NTFS? WTF!
what a crock of sheet.
I have NEVER had so much grief installing a game.
any work arounds?

  • So what file format are your external drives using? Windows games require NTFS and not an older format such as FAT32 because of file size limitations. It's possible to convert a drive from FAT32 to NTFS without losing data, see this YouTube video for example. Alternatively, free up space on your C drive or get a new storage drive and format it to NTFS.

hey mate I gave up and got a credit.
My external HD is exFAT I just think its ridiculous, I have never come across such a problem just to install a game over my many many years of gaming. no game has ever asked me for a HDD to be formatted in a specific way.
      thanks for replying.
