so, i turned on meta ai in tips app and when in the tutorial i say anything it just doesnt do anything, it only responds to what can you do or just says "im not sure, go to oculus support", but after the tutorial, it doesnt work fully. just nothing.
vpn doesnt help too, but i rlly want meta ai, so any tips?

Yep, fairly sure this is still only available in North America on the Quests. Works on the Meta Ray Bans so would be nice if they gave it to everybody on the Quests - very useful tool!
Sorry guys but like Meta Support it's AI is on a permeant lunch break, makes me laugh that they can't fix bugs on an Android based headset, yet you expect the AI to Work!! ?? hahahaha..
No they are not I think because I was talking with a live agent and Emailing one and they kept replying with good answers but not working
Old thread, but I had been told by several sources that Meta AI is not available on the Quest 3 in my country (Australia). But today, while browsing through the "Help & Tips" app, I found the Meta AI tutorial, so I ran it. When a window popped up with "Enable Meta AI" button on it, I thought "you beauty, here we go". Sadly, Meta AI does not work even though I "enabled" it. Interestingly, doing this has made a "Meta AI" button permanently appear in my quick settings menu, which wasn't there before.
Update: well, I kind of have Meta AI now (Quest 3 v81.1034), sort of. It now activates when I press the Meta AI button in Quick Settings or when I press the Quest Menu button + right grip button on my controller, and it recognizes my speech correctly, but it ignores all my commands and does nothing 🤪. Strangely, there's no Meta AI option in the Advanced Settings.
Meta AI: "Listening..."
Me: "what can you do?"
Meta AI: "... what can you do?"
Meta AI: *crickets*
