  • Hi there Samshi.2017 You haven't fully explained what exactly happened so I'm trying to guess. Can you try to restart your headset. Just hold the side button down until the power option menu comes up and choose restart and see if it fixes it. Good luck,, let's know how you get on.

  • I tried that and it didn't work I contacted meta support.

But at the same time thanks

  • Also it doesn't give led or vibration it only gives fake battery percentage on the meta horizon app

OK, other two possibilities is to connect your headset to your pc and try the Meta Software Update tool. If it's a software issue it might fix it. Here's the link to the web page.

The other thing you could try is a factory reset but make sure you have your apps and games backed up through the cloud option in the headset. It might fix it too. Hopefully Meta Support will get back to you quickly.

  • Hi Samshi.2017 🙂

Stupid question, I know, but..... are you sure that  you haven't put in the battery in the left controller the wrong way? This can happen.

At what is the battery trick?

  • I put the batteries correctly their fresh alkaline aa batteries

So I don't know what is wrong with it

  • Also the battery trick is you take paper and fold it then put it on the battery

Samshi.2017 If the battery is loose in the controller you can't use paper as it isn't conductive. You have to use Aluminum or tin foil for the battery to work.

    • Try toggling off all the Experimental Settings and also hand-tracking in your headset.
    • Now unpair your controllers using the phone app.
    • Remove the batteries from the controllers for 5 minutes then put them back in.
    • Now re-pair the controllers using the phone app.
    • After successful pairing, press and hold the power button on the headset for 20 seconds to power it off.
    • Restart the headset and check if the controllers are fully working again.
    • You should now be able to turn hand tracking and the Experimental Settings back on.
