I appreciate your reply but the way this played out seems more in line with the feature being removed. If it was a bug, the option to connect to Apple Health would still be available but not working. But in this situation it was working, then it was grayed out and unavailable, then the toggle and all reference to Apple Health were removed from the app. Interestingly enough, this change happened at the beginning of a month which doesn't sound good for those of us that rely on this as it fits with a sunsetting support scenario.
If the feature was removed and we will not be getting it back, please just tell us that so we won't be checking our mobile devices daily for app updates and install them with high hopes that Apple Health will be put back. I'm not sure you understand how critical this feature was for those of us with Apple watches and who use the Quest daily for long exercise sessions. I have no way to push my Meta data to my device and have progress tracked in one place anymore. At the very least, if the ability to do this was going to be removed, giving notice that as of 10/1/24, we'd be no longer to sync to Apple Health, it would have been a crushing blow, but the lack of information provided both a crushing blow and an awful surprise.
I can certainly understand how this isn't the Meta experience you expect and I thank you for raising your concerns.
There haven't been any announcements to say it has/will be removed and the engineers are actively looking into the issues you've raised so it doesn't seem to be removed by design. In fact, this Move article that was last edited 4 weeks ago still provides the process for linking to Apple Health. If this feature was removed then this section of the article would have been edited to say it's not possible anymore or omitted entirely.
I appreciate your patience with this so far. I'd just need to ask for your continued patience while the tech team look into this. I'll provide any updates on this thread 🙂

So it seems you guys have been stringing us along. The Meta Horizon app got updated yesterday, and now the whole ‘Move’ menu under the user menu has been removed ENTIRELY.
Are you serious?

As I've mentioned in my last reply, the engineers are looking into this so I will provide further info when I have an update from them.
As it currently stands, Meta have made no announcement that this feature is being removed and the Move article still includes instructions on how sync data with Apple Health so it should still be available. This leans me towards thinking this is a bug/error with the update(s) and is why the engineers are currently investigating it.

Hi, any update on the status of the engineers' investigation? Have they confirmed this is a bug with the app?
There have been a few updates to the horizon app lately and the move category exists but Apple Health does not appear - so this issue is now back to the original state.
The updates to the versions in the app store do not contain details regarding bug improvements - are there timeframes we can expect for resolution of this bug?

It has been 2 months. And still your documentation claims this is a feature as far I can tell. You are almost right, this is not the Meta experience we want but hard not to expect at this point... Removing this feature is bad enough but refusing to even communicate that the feature does not exist when people check to see if this is a thing before purchase is disappointing and seems to be purposely misleading at this point.
