Meta quest 3S with game bundle

I bought a Meta quest 3S from Best Buy a month ago and that bundle came with a walking dead red redemption game. I’ve gone back-and-forth with Meta and Best Buy trying to get a redemption code to download the game that came with it. I never received an email or anything with a code and Best Buy stated that Meta should be providing this redemption code to me anybody having this issue?

    Have you activated the Quest immediately? The promo was valid until 12/31/25 and the game must be redeemed by December, 31.

    Usually - if this doesn't work - support can sort that and people will  get their game - takes normally only few minutes.

    You said that you are already in contact with support...... maybe try WhatsApp if you used chat, or vice versa.

      I did right after Christmas. It was a Christmas gift and I’ve been dealing with this ever since I’ve gone to the Best Buy store twice and have tried to submit support tickets to the Meta and then unsuccessful

    Go to your Horizon app on your smartphone and take a look here, just in case it's there. Also look in the Promotions area. Forgot to put a circle around it! 😁Let's know if you find it there. Good luck! 🍀🍀🤞🤞

  • I had a very similar situation once. Sometimes the code doesn’t get emailed automatically even though the bundle says it’s included. In my case the retailer confirmed the bundle, and Meta eventually gave me the redemption code after I contacted support with proof of purchase. It’s annoying, but it’s not uncommon.

      klen.loreni​  you are right, this happens sometimes if it is a promo from a particular retailer - Amazon, Best Buy or whatever - but there is no such promo on the Meta page about that.

      Just like you said.........usually, the support team can easily resolve that.👍

  • So I tried to submit a support ticket through Meta online. But it is not letting me what I notice is I login through Meta and I do not see my device on there- under devices, but if I click my horizon profile settings, my horizon profile comes up and my device is on there with the serial number, but every single time I try to make a support ticket through chat it asked to verify my serial number of my device because it says that my Meta account has no device devices . Although when I click on my horizon profile, I see it there and when I do put in my serial number to verify my device through the chat. It says there’s no support for this device on your account. (Meta account)

      GaribayIvory​ which serial number do you use? You must put in the one from the box, not from the headset itself.

      If you don't have the box anymore look here ....... it'll show you the box sn.

      I hope, you can still get the game, even though the date to redeem it actually is expired.
