Hello, so I recently got my Meta Quest 3 in August, and one of the first things I did was pay for the annual subscription to Quest+, because I see it as a great deal. I made sure to redeem every curated game, and every game from the rotating library. I checked several times, and even downloaded them. I know have a few games that are expired, which I know I redeemed. They are A Township Tale, Sports Scramble, and The Climb. They are in my library. Is there any way to reclaim them? It seems so odd because my subscription is active, and nothing else is expired. I am confused if I did anything wrong. I made sure to claim every game since that is part of the value. Is there anything I can do?

  Facing the same issue. I redeemed Sports Scramble and even though my Quest+ Subscription is vaild the games shows as expired.

The same thing just happened to me. I thought the whole point of a redeemed game is that it stays in your library just like PlayStation plus works. If this is not the case then I won’t be continuing with meta plus subscription.

I don't know why support don't just post a useful reply in here rather than making everyone message them individually.
It seems that the 'games catalogue' games do come and go, like Netflix. The two main games a month, once redeemed, are available forever (so long as you remain subscribed) but the others can be removed. The wording on the quest+ website page do say this, though it certainly isn't made very clear. I assumed all games remained available, but apparently not.

  Hi, Where on Meta's site does it mention game expirations? This is all that I found and forwarded to Support. I also where I can find out what redeemed games are going to expire next.

    Look again: " Offer may be cancelled or modified at any time without notice."
    Also look at the last question of the FAQs.
    
    It's still a scummy move to remove games without any warning. What if you are 95% of the way through an adventure game and then it suddenly 'expires'. Maybe they have something in place that it only expires if not used for a certain amount of time. The ones that have expired for me i have either not played at all or not used in a long while.

  Once you made a purchase should remain permanently in your library whether there’s a licensing issue or not, there should be no difference between a digital purchase and a physical purchase

    Agreed.
    Within my Meta Library, there are three types of program ownership:
    1. Outright Purchases.
    2. Permanent Redeemed via my Meta Plus subscription - two games each month.
    3. Temporary Redeemed via my Meta Plus subscription. Multiple games that can be revoked/expired at anytime by Meta.
    My issue is that Meta doesn't provide a list of when a game will be expired. I checked my headset's files and the expired games are still installed, but I cannot access them. But, if I were to purchase an expired game, the Saved Game filed would / should be intact. I have not tested this yet.
    Ideally, Meta would send me a notification two weeks prior to expiring a game. If I had not yet played the game, I would check it out. If I was playing the game, Meta should ask if I would like to purchase the game at a discount so that I could continue playing the game.
    Meta support said that I should think of Meta Quest+ temporary games as if they were like Netflix. Movies come and go each month.
    So, now I know what to expect. All in all, I think the Meta Quest+ subscription is still a great deal.

I just messaged them and was told "To keep our library fresh, the library of available titles rotates. Some titles will periodically leave, and new titles are periodically added. Please keep in mind that canceling your Meta Quest+ subscription will cause you to lose your previously redeemed titles, in app purchases, and game saves."

So redeeming games doesn't mean that we'll always have access to them. Furthermore, canceling means we do lose access to all games previously redeemed. Definitely not as good of a deal as Xbox Game Pass or Amazon Prime Gaming, but there isn't another player in town for rotating VR titles. Yet.

  I guess you have never heard of Viveport Infinity, huh? Over 1000 PCVR titles under their subscription plan. It costs slightly more than Meta's offering, but 1000 vs 40 titles 😁. The only disadvantage is it is all PCVR, there are no native titles available.

    I just canceled my infinity subscription after having it for years, because I haven't used it in months.🤷‍♀️
    
    The biggest advantage of infinity is/was, that they have sometimes promotions where you can redeem a game and can keep it forever...... even after the subscription ends.😁

Found this thread in a completely different search, but it seems like some people have never had a subscription service before. It is nothing new for a subscription to add and remove items from a catalog. Netflix or any other TV streaming service does it, Xbox Gamepass, PlayStation and other gaming platforms do it just the same. Even in Meta's official announcement back in February (https://www.meta.com/blog/quest/meta-quest-plus-new-games-catalog-vr-subscription-service/) they stated "Titles will rotate in and out of the program to keep things fresh." The catalog is just a way for new subscribers to instantly have access to a bunch of games and not have to wait for 2 at a time, which makes the subscription much more valuable.
Now, it would be nice if they were better at announcing when titles are leaving and the past couple of months they have been a little better at it with a single notification that Arizona Sunshine was leaving in October and Green Hell VR in December. It would be nice if they did something like Gamepass does and has a "Leaving Soon" date on them so you know to try and give it a play before it vanishes.
As for the saves, so long as you have cloud save enabled, your game should be backed up to there if you decide to purchase or it comes back in the future.

  Meta Quest+ is mainly for gaming, so we should be comparing the service to PlayStation plus and gamepass not Netflix. In both gaming subscriptions as long as your membership is active you’ll always have access to the games. Removed from the store or whatever you can still play the games. With meta game+ that’s not possible. Meta should do a better job letting the gamer know when the game will expire and if they can purchase at a discounted rate. Not happy with the subscription after knowing this. I’m a new Quest owner too.

Whilst I agree that they should make it clearer when games are leaving the service, the rest of what you have said is simply not true. Games leave Game Pass regularly. Once they leave, you can't play them unless you buy them. It works the same as the Meta+ subscription. The only difference is that with Meta+, the 2 monthly games always remain playable as long as you have the subscription.
