Mic on quest 3 is not working in xbox party

While playing on the xbox with my quest 3 I can not figure out why the mic is not working while in a xbox party, I've given everything I can find permission, both on the xbox and the headset, but still nothing. While im on the xbox home I can see up in the right corner, it says the mic is muted, but everything is on, am I missing something, im almost ready to do a factory reset but I dont want to if theres a simple fix, thank you.
