No apps in Library

Hi all,

Since today I have no apps in the Library on my Quest3. When I check mobile app the apps are all there. Is there a way to sync? Could it be that there is an interruption on the META servers?

  • I have got quiet the same problem. I only see "masked app". To launch a unmasked app, i must use the searc function.

      Hello biqounes13,

It looks like you're having trouble seeing your apps in the Library. That can be frustrating, and we’ve got a few steps that usually help clear things up.

      Check Your Library Filters.
The most common reason apps go missing is that the Library is filtered to show only certain types, like “Installed” or “Hidden.” Try switching the filter to “All” so you can see everything.

      Restart Your Headset
Sometimes a simple restart can fix temporary glitches:

      • Hold down the power button until the power options appear.
      • Select “Power Off” and wait for the headset to shut down completely.
      • After a few seconds, press the power button again to turn it back on.

Log Out and Log Back In
Refreshing your account can help repopulate your Library:

      • Open the Meta Horizon app on your phone.
      • Go to Settings and choose to log out of your headset remotely, or log out directly from the headset.
      • Then log back into your Meta account on the headset.

      Access “Unknown Sources”
If you’ve installed apps from outside the Meta store, they might be in a separate section:

      • In the App Library, select “Applications” from the left menu.
      • Use the drop-down in the top right to choose “Unknown Sources.”

If that does not help please reach out via a private message so we can have a look further. Please select our name to get to our profile page, or click here. From there, click "Send a Message" to privately message us! Please remember, you must be signed into the community first to send us a private message. We're eager to hear from you!

Do you have turned on PTC (Public Test Channel)? When I turned it off and rebooted  the problem was over

  • Yes, the problem come with the ptc v83. There are no more filters, and by default (menu all), the active app are not visible. With the old navigator, or on the phone, the app are visible
