Oculus Quest games

I have the oculus quest and had an oculus account.  I didn't read the email stating that oculus was closing and that I needed to get a meta account.   I dug out my old oculus to play, and this is when I realized my account had been deleted.  Now I've created the meta account, but I don't have any of the games I'd previously purchased.  When I go to the store to redownload it says it's not available in the store any more.  Am I just SOL.  Thanks in advance.

landerson27  you 'might' be able to get your games back if you contact MetaStoreHelp  with the details of your old account and proof of puchase of the games you bought.

    Good luck

Those Oculus games were also available on Gear VR with the Oculus account. The Gear VR and Oculus store were the same. Even though I didn't have it anymore, I updated my details on Meta when it changed but only got my Quest recently and I could use my old account. Anyway, it doesn't matter. If you paid for games that are no longer on the store, you're not going to get them back. I had the same situation. I did talk to support and they told me,, anything not on the store isn't available anywhere. I did have one game I really wanted to play again for nostalgic reason, End Space, old but good fun. I owned that game but I still had to buy it again because even though I had it already, it was erased from the pre Meta account. Now, that is possibly because I had it on a Gear VR, not a native Oculus headset. I have noticed that apart from End Space, none of the games I personally owned way back then are on the Quest store now. It might be different for you as you had an Oculus so don't give up yet ! Good luck !! But don't get your hopes up too much.

Maccyb123  some older games have been hidden. I have a copy of 'New york Times: Apollo 11: as they shot it' which I'm still able to download and play. It shows up on a google search and you can still go to the page, but unless you've already purchased it, there's no option to buy or download it.

Now if you do a search for that same game from within the PC/Link store, it doesn't show up.

Thanks for that. Good to know. I did find some things like one called Annie Amber if I remember correctly but it stated only playable on Gear VR and Oculus Go. It's not a big deal anyways but it is what it is. I'm not enthused enough about them to put much effort into finding. Appreciate the information !
