I think these new environments are a downgrade. Is there at least some way of removing the mirror and the meta portal thing? I'm really never going to use that and have already experienced a bit of a struggle to remove the noodle arms.

Yes. Anchor an app right in front of the mirror and portal so you can't see them 😁.
