Phasmophobia App

I think we shouldn't be required to have a pc linked to our headsets if we want to play this game, they have all the controls needed but not an app, should be a simple solution theoretically just some minor adjustments to software to make it fully compatible.

Of course you need a PC to run the game, it is not Android based. You don't have the slightest clue what you are talking about. It takes more than "some minor adjustments to software" to port the game to Quest.

Porting a PC game to standalone VR requires:

    • Rewriting rendering pipelines
    • Reworking assets for mobile performance
    • Rebuilding interaction systems
    • Re-optimizing lighting, physics, AI
    • Replacing PC-specific libraries
    • Rebuilding the entire build chain for Android

This is months to years of engineering work, not a patch. Phasmophobia would require a full-scale port, major redesigns, and significant compromises - if it were even feasible at all.

its a suggestion, not like i'm making requirements, but given some rough research it wouldn't take longer than 18 months with a hard stretch, seeing as they don't have to completly rebuild the entire game they save time by having a base, sure the transfer from wtv the game currently runs on to android will take a while it won't take longer than 6 months, given they assign more than 10 devs to this assignment, with some patchwork and tweaks needed afterwards it wouldn't take more than a year, giving those extra 6 months as leeway.

Good luck. I doubt that the developers at Kinetic Games will ever read this post.

Why don't you contact the developers of the game? There not going to be reading this.
