Portal by Facebook no longer can you add pictures

I'm on 74.0.0.0.0 & can't upgrade as it just goes back to the same screen.    "You are using an unsupported version of this App."     

Last update date is Jul 11, 2024.    Compatibility says " Works on your device".   Samsung SM-S901U     so I should be ok and has worked fine for years but can't see or add pictures now to the FB Portal on my cell phone.      The Portal does work to show pictures I have loaded already & for calls but I can't add or delete pictures with the App.    I cleared the cache & unplugged to reboot Portal and uninstalled and reinstalled but didn't help.  i used chat but no help either.   Disappointed I can't upgrade or add pictures.     Thank you.   Bill
