So recently I've seen that in the Camera, there's now an option to go live on YouTube and see your chat while you stream. I've tried to use this feature, but every time I do it always says "something went wrong". (for the record I use OBS studio and stream the oculus.com/casting window.
WHAT I'VE TRIED:
- Going live on OBS then casting
- Starting a scheduled live
If someone could please tell me what I'm doing wrong I would appreciate any help.
your YT stream needs to be PUBLIC also try to YT login in OBS

If you haven't yet, tried the option of making your live session Public as stated by ToXXuS.inside? With Meta Quest, you can livestream from your headset to YouTube and see your YouTube live chats while fully immersed in VR. This feature requires casting from your headset to a desktop and using a stream companion desktop software such as OBS (Open Broadcasting Software) in order to livestream to YouTube. I came here for the same reason but still Doesnt work and dort say I dort have it public, I have it public so yea it s Doesnt work I use obs and do every Instruction still Doesnt work so you need to fix it or say whats there the problem
start the stream, go public, then go live with YouTube chat.
Hello Oculus. I came here trying to find a solution to my problem, but i found nothing of this issue. When I put in my channel handle, nothing pops up. I put @ in front of my handle and made sure I had spelled it right, but still, nothing pops up. Can you please help me fix it?

Im having the same issue when clicking go live on the quest 3 it shows something went wrong with the monkey below it and does not allow me to see chat. Looking online there are countless others having this issue. Is there an ETA on a fix? The streaming feature is the whole reason I bought this device since my streaming pc is needing repairs and with this being my business it is costing me my only source of income since your product is not working as advertised. Really needing an update on this issue if possible.

I need help
Every time I try to go live, it just shows a Youtube monkey.
You need to make the stream live prior to activating Meta's youtube chat.

The livestream must start prior to casting and comments must be se to public, not subscribers only.

What does OBS stand for and how do I use it for the quest 3? I'm trying to figure out how to livestream myself and I'm having the same issue but whenever you say use OBS for casting then it gets me confused
