Just a heads-up that Quest v2.4.1034 (build 5216847.4070.520) breaks Prime Video focus mode.
I'm using a Quest 3.
After this software update (the app itself hasn't had any updates in quite a while), whenever I open Amazon Prime Video app and switch to focus mode, then click any other button such as "Home", "Prime", "Subscriptions", "Search", "Play", etc, the app instantly switches back to window mode. This is a royal pain in the backside. The ONLY way to be able to watch a movie in focus mode after the update, is to play the movie first, then immediately switch to focus mode and do not click on anything else after that as it could cancel the focus mode again. This is NOT how the app used to behave before the update. Before the update, the app would stay in focus mode until you specifically click the "leave focus mode" button or close the app.
The best workaround at the moment is to simply use the Browser-based version of Prime Video instead of the dedicated app.
I've reported the bug via the headset Quick Settings.
The other glitch I've noticed in the v2.4 software is that whenever browsing the Store app and an app preview video starts playing, it causes the headset image to freeze for a couple of seconds (image gets "stuck" and follows your head movement instead of staying fixed in space), which is unpleasant and vertigo-inducing.
I'm not happy with this latest software update at all.
steve_40 I just got a Prime Video update today on my Q3 and all works great now, including Focus mode. Cheers.
