Re: Gorilla tag toxic Reporting - emotional distress & mental health

I'm dealing with the same issue. Son is on a supervised account and was banned for 2 weeks then told me it was just updated to a permanent ban. Gorilla Tag makes it impossible to appeal a ban AND as a parent you don't know why they were banned. My son explained someone was player tracking him and that they were able to follow him into another game when he left Gorilla Tag. Now I have to deal with the whining and not understanding why he was banned.

  • I know this is an older post from 2 months ago, but like most parents I have had enough of Gorilla Tag. I say this because I am so sick of the toxicity, racial slurs, you name it these kids are saying it then if your child defends himself/herself these kids false report other children including my own. That being said I know my child is not perfect but when my child gets banned because of another player false reporting... well something has got to be done, I have gone through the same process with appealing the ban so on and so forth that nothing ever comes of it. I did read a post on here where someone had mention about going to their local county or state to report on Gorilla Tag. I don't know how much that would help or if it would do anything.  If any other parents are dealing with these frustrations, maybe if we all stand up and let our voices be heard maybe something might be done.

  • The company “another axiom” is a joke. It’s time to ban them from Meta.

  • Gorilla Tag is poisonous for kids. He's better off away from it. Had a similar issue, with my son playing it on his headset. Also, there are creepy people in there, who somehow don't get banned. Just my opinion, let him play single user games or multi-player in a healthier game environment.
