Recording menu intrusiveness

So, whenever I am either recording or casting, the camera menu still shows when the Universal Menu is minimized. 

The thing is, it's completely immovable. It obtrusively stays in the middle of my boundary, right in the way, so whenever I'm in game, and I'm shooting, there's a decent chance that I accidentally click on the menu. if this happens, I drop my weapons in game and can't move for at least a few seconds until I've got the menu away. 

Is there really no way to remove this? at least make it just stay in the Universal Menu, and minimize whenever I close the menu.
