Request cannot be completed

This has been the most frustrating experience I've ever had on any platform, I cant buy anything, tried multiple accounts to gift, tried vines and other networks, ive tried PC phone and quest headset purchases, nothing.... I've asked for help, all I get is "we are investigating" no updates no fixes and here i am trying my best to stay loyal to meta.... so difficult not knowing if this will ever get fixed and im just wasting my time.... I've read about people sitting S ith this issue for months... unacceptable...

    I’m having the same issue! Brought the 3s for my son for Christmas and it won’t allow me to purchase anything on his games! 
    It’s so frustrating! I’ve tried all the recommended things, like different bank card, different device, strong WiFi connection etc! It just keeps coming back with “Your request couldn't be processed”  “We're working on getting it fixed as soon as we can.”

  • What country are you people in? I'm not having any issue purchasing games, but I'm in Australia. I'm wondering if the issue is country-specific? I've been using PayPal.

      steve_40​ I don't think, it's  a region thing.

      The people with issues are in different countries... I also saw someone from Germany.

      But I'm in Germany too and can buy without issues.....using PayPal or Quest cash.🤷‍♀️

        steve_40 Choleni The problem might not be with Meta, it might be caused by security protocols by individual banks and credit card companies. I had the issue very briefly until I realised that making payments to foreign entities was blocked.......and who blocked it? I did and completely forgot I did it. 😂As soon as I switched it off I was fine.. Maybe this option is switched on by default with some banks in order to prevent fraud. 

  • I've had the same issue but I entered the pin wrong to many times so it may just be a pin error
