What do you mean by "background room"? Do you mean your old home?
If so, they are gone now. The temporary solution to get the old homes via the help section doesn't work anymore. They all have been removed now.
This is upsetting. They don't have any like the futuristic one and that one is the one I liked. More of a sci-fi environment.
