Shiny rocks in gorilla tag for 10 year old
Hi, my son is part of our meta family group and wants to buy shiny rocks in gorilla tag. We have a Meta voucher attached to our family account already. How can I use that voucher to gift my son shiny rocks?

I don't think you can. The Meta gift cards etc are for the Meta Store items only, but shiny rocks are an in-game currency thing and not part of the Meta store.

Normally child accounts don't have any payment methods on it.🤔 Can you add your credit card to Grace account?
In the solution in that thread they are talking about a teen 's account. I think, this won't work with child accounts?
But even if this works...... as far as I know, child accounts don't have access to the ATM in the game where shiny rocks must be purchased...... I might wrong.
Thanks for responding Steve. It's so helpful! Unfortunately my son has no option to purchase and no way of inputting any credit card details on his account either. I think I have to 'gift' shiny rocks over to him somehow. But you definitely clarified for me the difference between Meta Quest vouchers and In-game spending

In the thread below, someone said it is possible to redeem a shiny rock gift card on a child account from pc. I have no experience with parent accounts, so I'm not sure if this works.
Unfortunately my son has no option to purchase and no way of inputting any credit card details on his account either.
It looks like it might be possible to redeem a gift card for a child if you do it on the web instead of using the mobile app. See this video:
