Thanks for sharing this - just looked at the news over at Kotaku.

That 4k OLED is impressive.

Not sure if Sony are thinking initially of using this tech for PSVR2. They are rumored to be working on a SeriousVR system for high-end application, something like their previous Glasstron platform.
I also think we are due an announcement about PSVR2 so we shall see.

There are rumors Valve was working on micro OLEDs HMD but that would cost more then 5k. So none happens yet.

And may be Apple.
