The camera app settings don't take effect.

Depending on what you're trying to capture, some apps or experiences may lock the orientation or aspect ratio to ensure the best viewing experience. That can sometimes make it feel like you're stuck with a certain format.

The good news is you can explore and tweak these settings yourself! Just head into the Advanced Camera Settings on your Meta Quest device, there you’ll find options that may help you customize your recording setup to better suit your needs.
