Thief sim vr broke?

So I’m going to keep this short for some reason every time I try to start a new game or try to load one of my saves it’ll start to load it then it gets stuck on the black loading screen or some black screen and I never loads in. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times and it never fixed the problem I’ve also cleared the cache and delete all the saves to make sure and it still didn’t fix it. What should I do to fix this? (I have a video of this problem but it won’t let me upload it only pictures)

Have you checked to make sure you are running the most current version of Horizon OS on your Quest?

If you are. the next step I would try would be to restore the Quest and set it up again. If you have tried reinstalling the apps and updating, that would be the next step.

Hi Isaiah_skates, Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.

We see that you are having trouble loading your game, it can be really frustrating when your game gets stuck on a black loading screen. We totally get that this isn't the ideal situation. We really want you to be able to enjoy your favorite games at any time and have nothing but the best VR experience. so we're here to help you out with this!

To help us understand the issue better, it would be really helpful if you could take a few minutes to answer some questions:

    1. Is the app is being downloaded from a Meta platform?
    2. Has the app been downloaded and installed on the headset?
    3. Are you able to launch other applications? Does the problem occur with more than one app?
    4. When did this start? Were any changes made?
    5. Is the Home Environment having any issues?

In the meantime, we recommend that you try the following to see if it helps resolve the situation:

    1. Restart the Headset
    2. If any changes caused this to start, undo these changes (Refresh Rate, Hand Tracking, Experimental Settings, etc.)
    3. Log out and back into the phone app
    4. Uninstall that application, restart the headset, and reinstall the application.

We hope this helps, but if the issue still continues, please don't hesitate in getting back to us. We are always here to help!
