I set it all up by the book, created a child's account linked to mine, got her user name, made her avatar, everything. Even bought her 2 favorite games and installed them for her.
But didn't you have to do all that through the Meta Horizon app on your phone, using your Meta account as the 'parent', already? So you shouldn't need to re-add the headset to the app again, that is why you get an error, it's already set up.
If you look carefully at the Meta Horizon app on your phone, under devices, there should be a little chevron that you can press, and it will show both headsets for you to select.
