Unable to purchase anything
Hi everyone,
I’m posting here because I’ve been dealing with a very frustrating Meta Store issue for a long time, and so far nothing has resolved it.
Since getting my Meta Quest 3, I’ve basically been unable to buy any games or apps at all:
- Purchases fail with Quest Cash
- Purchases also fail with credit cards
- I constantly get a “Feature unavailable” error
What makes this even more confusing:
- I have successfully made purchases in the past on this same account using a credit card
- I’ve been in contact with Meta Support for a long time, but the issue is still unresolved
- I even created a brand-new Meta account just to test — the problem still happens
- I tested with a reputable paid VPN
- I tried different browsers and networks
- I performed a full factory reset on the headset
None of these steps made any difference.
At this point, this has been a really bad experience overall. Since buying the Meta Quest 3, I haven’t been able to properly use the store at all — I can’t buy games with a credit card, and I can’t even use my Quest Cash balance.
I’m sharing this to ask:
- Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
- Has anyone managed to fully resolve this, and how?
Any feedback or confirmation would be greatly appreciated. This really feels like a deeper account or backend issue rather than a local setup problem.
