You can disable PTC at any time. You will receive a warning that disabling it will perform a factory reset on your headset. This will install the latest build version, currently v81.
However, from what I've read, disabling PTC often doesn't automatically trigger a factory reset. Therefore, you must perform it manually, otherwise you will remain on your current version until the next build is released.
