Whirring fan type noise when looking around with headset

Hi, I don't really know if this is the right topic to publish this into forums, but I wanted to know how to fix this, I was messing around with an old Oculus quest 2 I had from when Oculus was still an independent studio branch (unrelated, but with the most terrible stick drift on both controllers).

Then about a month, so or less, can't really remember, whenever I look around, whether fast or slow, or not even looking, I kept hearing this fan type of sound as if an Xbox 360 was loading a game, when I look around fast, it gradually went a bit loud, but when I stop looking around, the whirring goes quiet.

How do I make the whirring stop, because I believe it means something bad is going to happen to my virtual reality headset, like overheating, please & thank you!
