Won't let me enter the floor vent in the predator simulator in Batman Arkham Shadow.

I can’t get past the predator simulation - when I get to the last scene with the floor vent none of my buttons work and I’m stuck.   Can’t move forward in the game .  This is a known bug - I’ve seen it documented and I’ve tried switching the toggle from right to left - loading an earlier saved game session.   Nothing works for me to get past this.  Help
