Worlds always says I need to create an avatar

I have 3 avatars. Every time I open Worlds it tells me i first have to create an avatar. I choose one make changes and save but then it just tells me I need to make an avatar.

    This is somehow similar to a crash. Try deleting all existing avatars and creating a new one from scratch, or reinstalling the program.

    I deleted my avatars and created a new one but that didn't change anything. I don't think meta lets you uninstall worlds. I've also tried a factory reset, that didn't work either.
