I'm planning on buying a link cable for my quest 2 but I want to confirm if I can play before I buy

My pc specs
Core 2 quad q6700 
GTX 970 OC

8Gb ddr3 ram

Windows 10 Pro

Will it run smoothly I am concerned about my CPU performance and any response will be greatly appreciated 😄

    Sorry to say it will not run at all on that CPU I'm pretty sure your processor is blocked from even installing the Oculus software lacking the SSE instruction they raised a few years ago before Quest. A good way to find out is, try to install the Oculus PC software, I think you will find it's not possible.  Here are the minimum requirements https://support.oculus.com/444256562873335/
