Lag and glitches with oculus link

Question

So, whenever i go onto steam VR or oculus with oculus link, it glitches and the screen flickers alot, its not too laggy when i play gorn but when i try to play pavlov, its so laggy omg! the screen is having a fucking seizure and i cant play, i wanted to play it for so long. can someone help? (my pc is more than good enough to run vr)

Your CPU doesn't meet the minimum for Oculus Link and although the requirements state it will work with GTX 1060, the 1060 comes in a 3GB and 6GB variant. No your PC is not VR ready, I'm sorry to say. 3470 is a socket 1155 and there is no upgrade path that will bring you to minimum requirements. The fastest you can get is the 3770k which is still 1 gen behind the minimum specs for the original CV1 and Steam VR
