Material between the lenses is getting bobbling where it rubs on the bridge of your nose.

Huh?  Bobbling?

sounds like pilling. if thats the case i dont think there's much you can do since its such a delicate fabric so traditional methods for getting rid of something like that would be too abrasive 

that's what I thought, shame as it does detract from the game when you have to keep itching your nose as it feels like a couple of hairs toughing you all the time.

Define Bobbling please.  Or better yet take a pic.

What kind of Pinocchio or Captain Hook nose do you have that it's touching the inner material of the inside of the faceplate? I got a big head and an average nose and it doesn't touch anything - heck, even with the silicone cover I still have a bit of a gap. Anyhow, maybe try using it with the eyeglass insert to give you a little more space for your epic snoot. lol

Jseams- your a funny sod lol. my nose  isn't massive it just touches the lightly as I close the eye mover part so I can see clearly and It creats a small fold in the middle.

@danhayj - yeah, we call that pilling in the US. Two options - the safest one is to use the glass inserts to move it further from your nose. I use them even though I was wearing contacts and now VirtuClear lenses - my eyelashes would slightly touch the lenses even with contacts and eventually cause smearing that had to be cleaned. I noticed no real loss of FOV with the insert attached.

The other less safe method is something we did to our dress uniforms in the Army. Use a small butane lighter like a Bic to quickly light those pills up. They will burn/melt back into the fabric. It smooths out the fuzziness but there is always the danger that you take it too far. It usually just takes a quick touch of the flame and *poof* they are gone. There are also commercial pill removers for fabric but they are usually small devices like an electric razer for cloth - I don't think you could fit one into that small of an irregular space.

sounds like a plan, ive tried the razer but the hairs are so fine it just makes it worse.  thanks for the advice.. you still made me laugh with the big nose jokes :)
