Oculus link suddenly choppy and stuttering

As of yesterday, I was able to play games on quest 2 and through link cable with no issues and no stutter. Last night I downloaded sidequest and messed with graphics in population one and played without link cable. Worked great, had it tweaked without stutter. Woke up this morning anf quest 2 home and games run fine, no stutter but when I go to enable link it has bad stutter and is choppy at home and in game. Also ran connection test and it failed and couldn't recognize cable, even though I was connected and able to play games (though with stutter). Using official link cable, went back to sidequest and made sure everything set back to default, made sure no experimental modes on, turned off developer mode and hand tracking, improved a little but still there.
