He admitted the fov measurements was for him and it could be different for different people. The fov for my quest 1 and 2 feels the same with my rift s feeling smaller. I dont feel you can say its greatly reduced for all.
At ipd setting 2, 63mm my horizontal fov is slightly larger than with Rift S. Biggest difference is vertical fov looking down. With Quest 2 i can see much more looking down. Default strap, default face cover.
