- VizionVRRising StarHA! Those wacky Norwegians! My ancestral home away from home. :)
I know I'm whining over 15 puny inches of snow. It just REALLY complicates my busted leg situation. Cabin fever has set in and my only respite is my Rift and a candle that smells exactly like fresh cut grass. - VizionVRRising Star

I've never seen snow. Australia has regions of snow, but it's further south.
Your avatar mocks my very dreams. - VizionVRRising Star

I was planning on doing some winter (ie: snow) camping this year. Usually we have at least a week / month of good amount of snowfall.
So far, nada.
Come on over. You can camp in my back yard. This snow isn't going anywhere for a while. - VizionVRRising Star

I live in Portland, Oregon. No snow yet this season. I am definitely jealous of the OP as I enjoy snow. Living in the city, it is nice to occasionally see the roads shut down and enjoy the silence that snow brings.
The silence of a falling snow is so unique and one of the only things I enjoy about it. The roads being shut down, uhhh not so much. :) - cristyloeHonored Guestholy batman thats alot of snow..

The photo was shot out my kitchen window, and there are parts of Europe that are far more beautiful. I'll be vacationing around there next year, hopefully. :D
Where would you go? Though I'm from the Netherlands myself, I have some family in Germany and Sicilia ;) - VizionVRRising StarScotland first, then a southern hop to an old family estate in Cornwall. Wouldn't mind visiting the Netherlands to try the lutefisk. :)

I think you meant "weed". Lutefisk is norwegian, it smells like death and no one should eat it. - PrincessZeldaHonored Guest

Thanks, MrsVR
I've only seen lutefisk once before, which was in the movie Frozen.
Sadly enough, we are famous because of weed being legally sold in every single coffeeshop here yes - VizionVRRising StarSorry about the country mixup. Blame my American ignorance.
I've eaten cow's tongue and bull's testicles (not at the same time though, that would just be weird). The latter was fresh from the source after helping a rancher in South Dakota castrate some of his herd. They were deep fried and served with native American fry bread.
Cow's tongue is the most delicate beef of the bovine. Even better than Kobe beef. You strip off the tastebuds before serving, the cow's tastebuds, not yours. :)
