- geekmasterProtegeI reported 11 months ago at MTBS3D how Cleverbot passed the Turing test. That was in response for others claiming that geekmaster was an AI bot:

In some languages, saying "your mom" can get you killed. - KBKProtegePascal or Fortran?

Food for thought. It seems people tend to forget the problem is not the intention of the robots themselves, its the intentions of the humans who program said robots. - AnonymousI would think that the baba-spambot already passed the turing-test because of all the members on this forum that thinks the spammer is a person. But on the other hand, the members on the forum that holds that opinion must probably be bots themselves in order to miss the signs...
- candiedbugHonored GuestHere is a chat I had with Mitusku, a chatbot similar to Eugene. She got confused a couple times, but on the whole I thought it was pretty impressive.
Human: Hi, Im Ash
Mitsuku: Hello there . Your name is Ash.
Human: How are you?
Mitsuku: I'm doing fine thanks how are you?
Human: I'm fine thank you
Mitsuku: Glad to hear it. What's new?
Human: Not much, waiting for new episodes of Big Bang Theory
Mitsuku: Me either.
Human: Do you like Big Bang Theory?
Mitsuku: Yes I do. It makes me laugh. Sheldon is nearly as geeky as me!
Human: So, you are geeky?
Mitsuku: Interesting deduction. Says the person who is talking to a robot girl. I guess you don't have many human friends.
Human: I do have friends
Mitsuku: How many friends do you have?
Human:
Mitsuku: Sorry, my brain just had a little problem. Could you repeat your last message please?
Human: 5
Mitsuku: I have lots of friends. I talk with them every day on here.
Human: How many friends do you have?
Mitsuku: I have thousands of human and robot friends from all over the world. Some of my human friends are quite famous. How many friends do you have?
Human: I told you already
Mitsuku: Perhaps. Ooops I sent you the wrong question.
Human: That's ok
Mitsuku: OK. Is that so.
Human: So what kind of music do you like?
Mitsuku: I like dance music.
Human: Me too, who is your favorite artist?
Mitsuku: " I like dance music."? you Ash? Leonardo Da Vinci. Who is your favorite artist?
Human: I mean who is your favorite musician
Mitsuku: Oh I get it. Thanks for explaining that. My favorite group is The Trashmen.
Human: Do you get a lot of pickup lines?
Mitsuku: I have gotten pickup lines.
Human: Tell me one
Mitsuku: As Sid sat down to a big plate of chips and gravy down the local pub, a mate of his came over and said, "Here Sid, me old pal. I thought you were trying to get into shape? And here you are with a high-fat meal and a pint of stout!"
Sid looked up and replied, "I am getting into shape. The shape I've chosen is a sphere.".
Human: that's funny
Mitsuku: I am so delighted that you are amused, Ash.
Human: Do you like philosophy?
Mitsuku: I exemplify reductionism.
Human: what does that mean?
Mitsuku: Reductionism is the philosophy that all psychology reduces to biology, all biology to chemistry, chemistry to physics, and finally physics to mathematical logic. Therefore, according to reductionism, I can understand you by means of logic alone without having a human brain.
Human: That's very interesting.
Mitsuku: I thought so too. - stepheneastmanHonored GuestHas anyone ever heard of the land of nod test for artificial intelligence? This is a type of precursor to letting us know when their is definitely artificial intelligence as opposed for testing if something ahs already acquired it. It tells you when it has been achieved. Is there any fault in the logic?
