Adding Low-Latency Bluetooth Codecs to Meta Quest

Many users enjoy using Bluetooth headphones with Meta Quest devices, but the current audio experience suffers from noticeable latency. This is especially problematic in VR gaming, where precise synchronization between sound and visuals is critical

I would like to suggest that Meta consider adding support for low-latency audio codecs such as aptX Low Latency, aptX Adaptive, or LC3, these codecs are already widely supported in modern headphones and could significantly improve the VR experience without requiring additional hardware.

Such an update would:

Reduce audio lag in fast-paced games
• Improve immersion and user satisfaction
• Make Meta Quest more competitive compared to other platforms that already support advanced Bluetooth audio

I believe this feature would be highly appreciated by the community and would strengthen Meta Quest’s position as the leading VR headset
