An old dude, who thinks he is still young!

I really need some detailed help trying to set up the devices I Have not sure if they are compatible or if i was taken by a seller.

I have found out I have a Meta Quest 2 headset only as well as a pair of Rift sensors. I have set up a meta account as well as a Horizon account but in my age i seem to struggle with reading set ups as there are so many. I'm really trying to do this as maybe my grandson someday will think I'm cool if my son ever decides to bring him over for a long stay. 3please help with any or all info.

    I hope that by "Rift sensors" you actually mean "Quest Touch Controllers" because that is what you will need to have before you set up the headset:

    You'll probably need to do a factory reset on the headset if it hasn't been done already. You will need a mobile phone with the Meta Horizon+ app installed on it and logged in to your Meta account. This video should help guide you. You'll find plenty more similar YouTube videos if you do a Google search.

    Choleni​ and Maccyb123​ might also be around to guide you if you get stuck.

    Hi GregoryD99​ 🙂

    The Quest 2 has inside - out tracking, you don't need the Rift sensors at all. So, you don't have to bother with that.....just forget about them.

    You must download/install the Meta Horizon app on your phone or tablet to set up the Quest 2.

    There are also lots of youtube videos(if you don't like reading instructions😉), that might help you with the set up. Or come back if you are still struggle with the set up.

      Oh, if you mean with "Rift sensors" the Rift controllers..... they don't work with the Quest 2.

      You'll need the Quest Touch controllers steve_40​ mentioned in his post.
