You can click the little gear icon next to the title and dismiss the announcement threads, but one you do that, I can’t find any way to ever see them again, so choose wisely.

Yes, you can dismiss announcements by clicking the gear icon -> Dismiss. The threads should still be there, but you'll have to go into the specific sub-forum they are in or wait until someone makes a new post so it will show in the list.

Ah yes, I see them now... they're just no longer pinned to the top of the sub-forum. If I go in a few pages deep, they are indeed still visible.

I actually was being sarcastic about it.. but wow.. didnt know I could actually get rid of them. that is so good.. =D

Haha, I had no idea that you could dismiss the announcements!!! Finally I can do some house cleaning on my view of the forum  :D
