Any East Coast Devs on Here? Live Near Florida Tech?
Hey Forum,
I am very interested in getting into VR game development :) Wondering if there are any VR enthusiasts, developers, graphic artists, sound engineers, amateur film makers et all who live near Florida Tech?
I would very much like to start a team. Although my current skill set is quite limited (as is my budget). But hey you got to start somewhere right? I dont even know what to name this team yet :P
Personally I would like to start with something small and practical.
We could make Janus rooms and hubs until we could afford to get going on Unity Pro
Once we get going on Unity Pro we can get our feet wet by creating demos and arcade games intended to be virtual games within Technolust. I am sure if we presented Anticleric with a compelling demo, he would definitely consider adding it into Technolust when he gets around to building the arcade venue.
Honestly at this point I would rather contribute to Janus & Tecnolust rather then make some stand alone product from scratch....
Not only would we be building out our own portfolio (acquiring skills and experience along the way) but we would be helping two intriguing VR optimized "worlds within worlds" platforms in the process.
And that sounds like a win-win scenario to me :) so who's with me?
