Any news on when voice commands and Meta AI will be available to English speakers outside of the US?

Is there any news on when features like Quest voice commands and Meta AI for Meta Ray Ban glasses will be available in English speaking countries other than the US, e.g. UK?
Is this a technical problem (detecting different accents) or a legal one (navigating privacy concerns in other countries)?
I so want to buy some Meta Ray Ban glasses but there's little point in doing so while their functionality is crippled outside of the US. Since Quest voice commands have been denied to us for so long, I don't see much point in buying the glasses just in the hope that they'll eventually be unlocked. Let's just say I'm not holding my breath... please prove me wrong 🙏 😄
