Anyone know a Good 3D TV for gaming?

I'm looking to purchase a used 3DTV 1080p for gaming and was looking for one that use Active 3D glasses. Does anyone know of a good TV that will suit my needs? I don't want a TV with much input lag either? I'm told the Samsung 7 series do this, but they all seem to be a little expensive for a used TV. What other TV's are there that can do this? Cheers!

I'm not sure if I'd even bother with a 3d TV at this point in time. The number of movies coming out in 3d has dropped pretty steadily from year to year. I have an LG from a few years ago that looks fantastic in 3D, and in standard HD.

The glasses are a bit of a pain, having to charge them and such, on top of the fact that I have glasses already, so having to wear two pairs sucked lol.
  • Didn't you buy a projector? Why would you want a TV, the projector is way better.

Yes I did buy a projector but was looking to upgrade my TV and just though a 3D Tv would be a good idea. I've finally got my Benq 3D monitor working with a DisplayPort now though, so I can skip buying a 3D TV..
  • 3D in gaming is brilliant and I am the rare breed who likes 3d movies too. I can't comment om other sets only mine sharp 70LE836e and I like it.
However I kind of echo what others say, it's a dead format :( unless you get a set where the 3D is a free bonus I am not sure it is worth it now (that said I have just got bladerunner3d so there are still some 3d films) .
Games tho. I am sad to say they are almost gone. Even last gen gensole games in 3d have had it stripped in the new ports (gears of war on Xbox 360 was ace in 3d as was uncharted on PS3. Trine 2 is beautiful
