Bad customer service

Really disappointed with the level of customer service. It’s almost impossible to get proper help, and the responses feel generic and unhelpful. Issues remain unresolved while tickets get closed without a solution.

 

In my case, I tried to request a refund but was refused. I then asked for a replacement product of the same value, which also went nowhere. I keep being told to contact the retailer, while the retailer directs me back to Meta because their warranty was only valid for 30 days. As a customer, being pushed back and forth like this with no accountability from either side is extremely frustrating.

 

For a platform that relies on its users and businesses, this lack of effective support and quality control is unacceptable. Please invest in real, accessible customer care and take responsibility for resolving customer issues instead of redirecting them in circles.

      Meta quest 3s vr headset, its blurry can’t get it to focus normally and I ordered it in Canada.

      To be honest this is the second device I got that’s malfunctioning and I asked for a refund they keep telling me talk to the retailer I bought it from when they only limited time  only for 30 days, but it’s still under manufactures warranty. I either wanted a refund or different device back. I don’t want the vr headset.

        If you haven't already, it may be worth going back to the retailer and clearly stating that you're requesting a remedy under your provincial consumer protection legislation. That tends to get more traction than relying on standard support scripts.

        They can only refuse returns beyond the 30-day limit if the product is not defective. So you need to state clearly that the headset is defective, as the image is abnormally blurry and out of focus (not due to eyesight problems etc).
